TRAVELING EXPERIENCE FROM WOODLAND CHECKPOINT TO JOHOR BAHRU BY WALK

Recently i traveled around malaysia and singapore. From Indonesia i flight to Malaysia by airasia then i stay at regalia hotel which is near from sunway mall and putra train station.

Me and my friend already planing a lot of activities, and because malaysia and singapore not so far away so we plan to go to singapore by train.

Before we knew that there is any sleeper train from malaysia to singapore but after i google arround i found out that sleeper train is not longer there. we need to go to singapore with train but a few of times.

1. Putra - KL Sentral > 1.9 RM by KTM Comuter approximately 5 - 10 minutes include waiting the train
2. KL Sentral - Gemas > 31 RM by ETS (Electronic Train Service) approximately 2h 16 minutes
3. Gemas - Johor Bahru > 21 RM by ETS approximately 4h 10minutes
4. Johor Bahru - Woodland train station > it should be by train 5 RM but due to im so late to booked the train so the train was sold out then  i change with another alternative by bus and i need to pay around 1.40 USG for almost 45 minutes. And you need to do imigration check at Johor bahru that state you already out from Malaysia.
5. Immigration check at woodland checkpoints perhaps 1 hour because a lot of traffic people and long queue there.

After finished imigration check i just know that woodland checkpoint and woodland MRT station is not in one place so i need to transport again. At that time by informed from a few people that we ask we need to go there by bus, there is a few bus which is through our destination such as bus number 856, 903, 911, 912, 913, 950 and we need to pay amount 1.4 USG.

That journey was so tired for me due to a long time for 2 times imigration check, 3 times travel by train and 2 times travel by bus untul our destination Garden by the bays. we also slept at the train so you can imagine how sick i am at that time.

After i come at Woodlands MRT Stations we are traveling again to Garden by the bays by MRT and the ticket price we need to pay is 2.50cent USG which is 10cent for deposit STP.

From woodland MRT we are going towards Marina south pier then Transfer to Bayfront at level 3 or 2 im a little bit forgotten but if you so lost dont mind to ask the officers arround there, coz they are so kind to help us to give the direction

After i arrived at Garden by the bays we need to walk around 10 minutes to the gates and we also need to buy ticket arround 28 USG for flower dome and cloud forest entrance also 8 USG for OCBC skywalk.
We already bought the ticket in Indonesia but unfortunately the weather its not cooperate with us because rainy at singapore so that we couldn't go up to OCBC Skywalk (the officers closed the area i thought they are afraid if there is any thunder, lighting or something which is not desireable happen and makes a victim so bye bye my ticket :((

Oh yaaa to travel from ticket place to Flower dome you need to bought ticket to ride shuttle which is 3USG for round trip. The officer will stamp your hand to mark that you have the ticket.

That place hmm i think looks like Kebun Raya Bogor In Indonesia but mix with Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, beautiful but the place not really huge than i expected before. If you have a dream to having a good pre wedding photos this place is really suitable :D

We are not completed visit Singapore if we didnt came to Merlion, from green by the bay we need to catch up so that we have enough time to visit this place. The place a little bit far from MRT,You can ask to police there and they will get you the direction even you can choose the short cut or the normal way and of course we determined to choose shortcut way from OCBC Building.

We finished that two place at Singapore because we didnt have enough time to visit other place. We need to come back to Johor Bahru at that night and yeah we need to do immigration check again at Singapore and you know what ? due to our time coincided with weekend there is a lot of worker which is work at Singapore but their home town is malaysia like Johor Baru and surrounding place they still need to do immigration check. At first we think that we are already queuing at the right line but unfortunately we are drifting away to line workers (singapore passport) not international passport. We hardly believe at first until i ask to people besides us and yup we got the wrong line, ooo holly sh*t we are already queuing for so long about 1 hour and we get the wrong line ?? how come ???

We are little bit hopeless because we need to catch up our train which is around 2 hour to go will be arrive also we still need time to travel from singapore to Johor bahru for aproximately 1 hour but we still stuck at there. gratefully the people and security help us to open the way so that we can exit the line and queueing at the right line. After finished that hell place we are following the directions board and we are completly exit from woodland immigration checkpoint. We asked the people is this the right way to johor bahru and they are confirm yes and we are following other people to go Johor Bahru by walk, at first we think that Ooo we need to walk a little until the bus stop but as far as we walking we didnt even found any bus stop and pick us.

Hmm it so suspicious why we didnt even get the bus and why they are walking really fast, i saw a few of them ride the ottopet ? and i brace myself to ask people again, he is a worker (indian) and he said if i want to go johor bahru we just needed to accross the river (he was talked while walking really fast and said "is this your first time? i said yes and a little smirk come out from him and i thought whats wrong ? whats funny ? until i say thank you and left behind him).  I possitively thinking that oo if we just need to accross the river is it aleady near ?? And then i see again a board street and it wrote xx km to johor bahru ? and yeah we are really really tired i never walked really long like in my entire life. I talk to myself i can do it i just need to walk a little bit until our destination.

Tari, syifa and anna said hmm at accross is that familiar to Johor Bahru check point ? hey guys we just arrived at Johor bahru. As we arrived at Johor Bahru we still didnt believe about our experienced that we just through, and i myself just laughed at myself how pitty i am but we are going this far i thought a little bit proud of  myself because you've done great to walked that far ?

How to apply passport at imigration office site south Jakarta

Hiii baby park.... long time not write in this dusty blog hheee...

So now i have a chance to apply a passport for the need to traveling a few country besides Indonesia. This is the first time im apply the passport so im so sorry if i a little bit "udik" hhee.. :D

So firstly we need to collecting a few document below:
1. Kartu Keluarga (Family card) Original print to showing to officer there
2. KTP (Identity Card) Original print to showing to officer there
3. Ijazah/Akta kelahiran (Diploma/Birth certificate) Original print to showing to officer there

we need to showing those are document to get the entrance number. At that time when i apply the application it still cant do by online but now we need to queue and get the application by online on their website https://antrian.imigrasi.go.id/

After we get the queue number, we need to waiting until our number comes its not to long waiting and depends on how many people who apply the application, in my case i got my turn after 2 hour waiting.

I come to the officer inside the room at imigration site south Jakarta. The officers will ask a few question such us, when will you go ? and where you will go ? and then you need to put your finger thumb to get your fingerprint for verification also pose to get a nice photo for your passport. All of that already done and we need to waiting approximately 1 week to get our passport.

dont forget to bring amount of Rp. 355.000,00 to pay passport admission when you come to officers and interview there.

sorry i didnt attach any photo of my passport look a like because my phone camera is broken now :((
